After devoting some time to our own site we are proud to finally present our new site layout for upbeatmedia.com It is definitely a huge improvement to our previous site which we hadn’t been redesigned in over 2 years. We are still in the process of updating our portfolio with new work, this should be complete by Monday.

What do you think of the new layout?

This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending the 3rd Annual One Stop Shop Producer Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. For those of you who have checked out the site before may have noticed One Stop Shop (OSS) was on my calendar of industry events for the last 6 months. All I have to say is AMAZING! The conference was an absolute wonderland. I met so many dedicated and motivated musicians and business people, I had butterflies all weekend. Of course I had my business cards ready to pass out, I thought I was going to run out, so I brought HUNDREDS of business cards (close to 1000 just in case!) If I did not take anything else away from the conference, the one thing I did take away was the fact that musicians and designers (graphic or web) absolutely need one another, I repeat… musicians and designers absolutely need one another! I’m not just saying that because I’m a designer and music marketing professional, I’m saying that because in the entertainment business visual image is top priority, ask Susan Boyle and her crew about that.
